Cobalt supply chain responsible sourcing supplier standards

(Summary description)The standards for responsible suppliers of the Cobalt supply chain (hereinafter referred to as the standards) provide additional details of the materials used in the products sold to Nanjing Hanrui Cobalt Co., Ltd., and its suppliers, and are a supplement to the code of conduct for suppliers of the Cobalt supply chain (hereinafter referred to as the standards).

(Summary description)The standards for responsible suppliers of the Cobalt supply chain (hereinafter referred to as the standards) provide additional details of the materials used in the products sold to Nanjing Hanrui Cobalt Co., Ltd., and its suppliers, and are a supplement to the code of conduct for suppliers of the Cobalt supply chain (hereinafter referred to as the standards).

The standards for responsible suppliers of the Cobalt supply chain (hereinafter referred to as the standards) provide additional details of the materials used in the products sold to Nanjing Hanrui Cobalt Co., Ltd., and its suppliers, and are a supplement to the code of conduct for suppliers of the Cobalt supply chain (hereinafter referred to as the standards). Suppliers of camry cobalt shall comply with this standard to meet the requirements of the code. The terms and conditions of the criteria have been incorporated into the standard, and in the event of any conflict between the two, the standard shall prevail and be deemed to be a modification of the criteria. This standard will be incorporated into all supplier legal contracts.

I. scope of application

This standard applies to all cobalt suppliers, subcontractors and their sub-suppliers (each level of suppliers referred to herein as suppliers) who produce cobalt-containing raw materials or products for use in cobalt products of the cobalt industry or provide services related to cobalt products of the cobalt industry. This standard describes the constraints applicable to all materials, components, procurement and manufacturing processes used to ensure that products sold to the company and its suppliers comply with the code of conduct for suppliers of the company. Ii. Supplier code of conduct requirements

Supplier should according to "China responsible mineral responsible supply chain management guide" and "the organisation for economic co-operation and development about ore from affected by conflict and high-risk areas responsible for a responsible supply chain management guide" (hereinafter referred to as the guide of the People's Republic of China and the oecd guidelines) requirements, the entire supply chain about the source of cobalt in cobalt product responsible management, to determine whether the cobalt from the democratic republic of the Congo (hereinafter referred to as the republic of the Congo (gold), or other high risk areas identified. If so, determine whether the cobalt in it directly or indirectly sponsors violations of human rights, particularly child Labour in its worst forms.

Iii. Supplier responsibility standards

Suppliers producing products containing cobalt must adopt the cobalt supply chain responsible management policy and commitment, which is in line with the cobalt supply chain supplier code of conduct developed by the company to establish a responsible global cobalt supply chain. Suppliers must distribute their cobalt responsible management policies to their subcontractors and suppliers of materials for processing and production of products.

Supplier only can be used in the following situations of cobalt processed products and products, the supplier can reasonably prove that has been in accordance with the guide of the People's Republic of China and the oecd guidelines, based on the source and regulation of the cobalt chain, identify and respond to the worst forms of child labor in the mining industry supply chain, and to meet the requirements of the standards for reporting and procurement. Supplier shall not permit the use of affected cobalt in any processing or product if supplier cannot reasonably demonstrate that I) the cobalt contained in any processing or product has been dutifully managed in accordance with the China guide and the oecd guide, and ii) the cobalt has met the reporting and procurement requirements of this standard. Supplier shall provide the company with reasonable documentary evidence of its reporting, procurement and responsible management activities and shall provide such records to the company upon request. The supplier shall distribute this standard to the relevant purchasing personnel and plant management of all its own factories producing products and ensure that their factories comply with the obligations and requirements specified in this standard. Iv. Responsible management statement

The China guide establishes a framework for the use of responsible management to identify sources of cobalt and chains of supervision. Supplier shall use the relevant responsible management procedures to make the following declarations:

1. Ensure that the use and sale of cobalt does not contribute to human rights violations in high-risk countries.

2. Responsible management of the source and supervisory chain of cobalt-containing products in the supply chain (e.g. application of nationally and internationally recognized standards for responsible supply chain management, such as the China guide and the oecd guide).

3. Upon the written request of hanrui cobalt industry, hanrui cobalt industry has access to all documents and evidence proving its responsible management measures.

4. Where reasonably acceptable, the supplier shall agree that the company or a third party designated by the company shall have the right to inspect the supplier's site and the supplier's supply chain, including the transportation route and the source of the mine. And in order to verify the compliance of the supplier to the standards, the supplier should fully cooperate and support.

If a supplier finds any relevant warning signs in the supply chain that link any product to human rights violations -- especially the most egregious forms of child labor -- cited in the China guide and the oecd guide, she should immediately email Ms. Han at csr@hrcobalt.com. The notification must have reasonable tracing information to identify which products may contain affected cobalt.

The supplier shall meet the reporting and procurement requirements referred to in this standard. The company has the right to audit suppliers according to the conformity described in the cobalt supply chain supplier standards for responsible procurement.

Nanjing Hanrui Cobalt Co., ltd. reserves the right to terminate its business with any supplier that fails to meet the requirements of this standard.
