Metal Mines S.A.R.L

Congo Metal Mines S.A.R.L was incorporated in Katanga Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo in July 2007. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hanrui Cobalt and belongs to the investment project of Ministry of Commerce of the People‘s Republic of China, with an overseas investment approval certificate issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Metal Mines S.A.R.L is located in the new industrial park of Likasi, Katanga.

The Metal Mines Plant covers an area of 19 hectares, with a construction area of more than 30,000 square meters and more than 400 employees. It has formed a crude cobalt hydroxide with an annual output of 4,000 tons of metal cobalt concentrate, 5,000 metric tons of cobalt metal, and 10,000 tons of copper cathode. The production capacity of 12,000 tons of sulfuric acid, and another 2,000 tons of cobalt cathode project being in preparation, which will complete the independent raw material security system of the Hanrui cobalt industry chain. Since stationed in Congo, Hanrui cobalt subsidized a number of schools, hospitals, local governments, public welfare projects such as roads building and wells drilling have established good business reputation in the local area.
